[Remote] Service Product Engineer - REMOTE in US

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Konecranes is hiring a Service Product Engineer to provide field engineering and customer solutions in coordination with sales, customers, engineering, project management, and service branches. The role conducts field inspections, analyzes inspection data, and creates technical reports and inspection solutions using company software tools.

Responsibilities

• The qualified candidate will interface with field sales, our customers, engineering, project management and service branches to provide valued solutions for our customers
• Accomplish field engineering inspections resulting in reports from field inspection data gathered, while utilizing Konecranes software tools and Microsoft Office Products tools
• The individual will create reports that accurately communicate all aspects of the field inspection and the engineering analysis
• Additionally, the candidate will perform and create solutions such as: Rail Q, Rail Q 3D, Crane Geometric, CRS inspection reports, Alignments and other Inspections/Testing for all industries

Skills

• The position will require full working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel, word, power point and adobe) with experience in producing professional documents
• The position will require training and the ability to learn Konecranes internal technical software programs
• A BSME, BSMET or other technical engineering field is preferred
• Applicable experience will be taken into consideration
• Strong technical writing skills
• A basic engineering understanding of mechanical/structural terminology and systems
