[Remote] Social Media Lead

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Speed Dial is hiring a Social Media Lead to distribute and grow the show’s clips across its channels and Atlas Berry’s social accounts. The role includes platform-specific publishing and copywriting, testing alternate versions of clips, coordinating guest cross-posts, engaging with audiences, and reporting on performance.

Responsibilities

• Your job is to get all of it seen: Speed Dial's channels first, then Atlas's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X
• Posting to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X, and running the calendar
• Writing hooks, on-screen text, and captions for each platform
• Testing. When a clip pops, running back new versions with a different hook or b-roll
• Choosing which clips go where, and pulling or recutting extra moments when an episode has more in it
• Working with guests' teams on collabs and cross-posting, and engaging in comments and DMs
• Tracking what's working on each platform and reporting weekly

Skills

• You know how Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X each work, what's trending on each this week, and how to adapt one clip for all four
• You follow tech, venture, and startups
• When a guest makes a call on AI, a big raise, or the markets, you know why it matters and who will care
• You use Claude, ChatGPT, or Sandcastles every day and have built your own content workflows with them
• You've worked on the social or clips side of a big show or channel
• You can link to clips you posted that are live today and tell us how they did
• Hand you a 30-minute conversation and you'll pull the moments that work on their own (a hot take, a surprising number, a sharp back-and-forth), then write the hook that makes people stop scrolling
• You can do a basic edit yourself or give an editor precise notes
• You're not analytical or used to making data-driven decisions
• You're not genuinely into tech and venture
• You've grown an account of your own
