[Remote] Social Media Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clair Health is hiring a Social Media Manager to own its Instagram and TikTok presence, coordinate with its Substack, and manage creator relationships. The role develops and publishes platform-specific content that communicates women’s health research credibly and supports the company’s brand, product, and community initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set and run the social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and in coordination with our Substack - one voice, tailored to each platform
• Manage relationships with creators directly for TikTok and IG content
• Build and maintain a real posting cadence: plan, schedule, and publish across channels using the right tools for the job
• Capture content live at events - think phone-in-hand, not waiting for a production crew
• Keep a pulse on the latest women's health research and translate it into content that's accurate but never dry
• Track what's trending across social and adapt Clair's voice to participate credibly, not chase every trend
• Partner closely with the Head of Partnerships and the broader team to keep social aligned with brand, product, and community moments (like our Insiders program)

Skills

• Strong graphic designer and copywriter who can take a post from concept to finished visual and caption
• Understands the Clair aesthetic and brings fresh ideas that keep the brand looking current and distinctive
• Proven experience running social channels for a brand, ideally in health, wellness, or a similarly regulated/science-adjacent space
• Direct experience managing creator relationships and partnerships
• Strong content creation chops - you can shoot, edit, and ship content yourself, not just direct others
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment; you can flex tone across platforms while keeping a consistent brand voice
• Comfortable reading scientific or clinical material and turning it into something a non-expert wants to read
• Organized and self-directed - comfortable owning a calendar and multiple moving pieces without a lot of hand-holding
• Thrives in an early-stage startup environment: fast, a little chaotic, high ownership
• Experience with Substack or newsletter platforms
• Existing relationships with women's health creators or communities
• Event or in-person content capture experience
• Genuine expertise in or passion for women's health
