Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GET GINSBERG! is seeking a Software Engineer to translate defined product requirements into maintainable, tested code. The role includes implementing features, investigating defects, collaborating on requirements, and supporting APIs and data models.
Responsibilities
- Work with APIs and handle ordinary data validation or error cases
- Participate in code reviews and apply actionable feedback
- Collaborate on technical requirements and clarify missing acceptance criteria
- Implement defined application features in the selected programming language
- Investigate reported defects and reproduce issues before fixing them
- Update application components while maintaining expected behavior
- Assist with database queries or data models when relevant to a feature
Skills
- Basic familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Attention to code quality, security, and clear technical communication
- Working ability in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Ability to write and interpret simple automated tests
- Experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects is acceptable
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
