[Remote] Sr. HR Strategic Partner / Consultant (Part-Time - Client facing)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atomus Partners hires a Senior HR Strategic Partner/Consultant to provide customized, hands-on HR support and strategic guidance to small-business clients in a fractional model. The role supports varied aspects of the employee lifecycle, including HR strategy, compliance, recruiting, employee relations, systems, benefits, and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Strategy for HR functional areas (compliance, benefits, talent management, systems, recruiting, culture)
• Organizational planning
• HR Audit(s)
• Employee handbook and policy development
• Benefit implementation
• HRIS implementation & automation
• Recruiting (job descriptions/posting, sourcing, resume collection & review, pre-screen interviews, scheduling interviews with hiring manager(s), job offer)
• Employee onboarding & off-boarding
• Culture programs
• Employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary actions and coaching
• Internal company marketing collateral such as culture events, benefits summary documents, onboarding presentations
• Payroll

Skills

• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
• 7+ years of relevant HR experience in a generalist/manager role at a small-mid-sized company (
• 3+ years of HR experience in a PE/VC backed company and/or start-up
• Proven track record of building and improving operational processes and procedures
• Solid understanding of HR systems and ability to learn new systems
• Thorough knowledge of employment law, compensation best practices, organizational planning and development, and employee relations
• Attention to detail
• PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certifications
• Experience with multi-state employment laws, including California employment laws
