Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications
- Support, enhance, and optimize insurance systems, with a focus on policy administration platforms
- Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support system analysis and operational needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure effective system functionality and performance
- Troubleshoot system issues and identify long-term process and technology improvements
- Lead or participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries
- Prior experience in the insurance industry
- Hands-on experience supporting or working with policy administration systems
