Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HII’s Mission Technologies division is seeking an experienced Teamcenter Administrator or PLM professional to maintain, support, and enhance its Siemens Teamcenter PLM system and its integration with enterprise systems. The role troubleshoots technical issues, configures workflows, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and supports and trains end users.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and optimize Teamcenter to maintain system performance and reliability
- Customize and configure the PLM system to meet evolving business needs
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve PLM workflows
- Ensure data integrity and security within the PLM environment
- Provide training and technical support to end users on Teamcenter processes and tools
- Develop and maintain documentation related to PLM processes and system configurations
Skills
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Teamcenter or another enterprise PLM system
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts and processes
- Experience with one or more of the following: C++, Java, Perl, SQL databases, Windows/Linux server management, and scripting languages
- Familiarity with system backups, upgrade processes, and workflow configuration
- Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, self‑motivated approach
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Teamcenter preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Siemens Certified Professional or equivalent PLM certifications
- Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform
- Exposure to FedRAMP‑authorized cloud platforms and a demonstrated understanding of federal IT security requirements and compliance frameworks
- Experience contributing to or authoring IT policies, documentation, or formal IT project plans
