[Remote] Veterinary Technician Liaison, Internal Medicine

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ethos Veterinary Health’s Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician Liaison for its Internal Medicine department. The role guides pet owners by phone, answers general pet health questions, documents conversations, and collaborates with veterinarians and technicians on client questions, prescriptions, treatment plans, and education.

Responsibilities

• Actively guide and accurately answer questions from clients regarding pet health
• Use Ethos and veterinary accredited published information to educate pet owners and discuss general pet health questions over the phone
• Enter accurate and timely documentation in the HIS including patient and owner name, address, phone number and summary of conversations
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure the day flows smoothly by assisting with client questions, prescriptions, treatment plans, and pet owner education

Skills

• Must possess 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and a desire to speak with pet owners about their pet's health and well-being
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required
• AS or BS in Biology, Veterinary Technology or Animal Science a plus
