[Remote] Vice President Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PLG EDUCATION is hiring a Vice President Operations to oversee day-to-day operational performance and drive strategic growth. The role leads cross-functional teams, improves processes and customer experiences, monitors performance, and coordinates strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President Operations at PLG EDUCATION is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance and driving strategic growth across the organization
• This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processes, high-quality customer experiences, and alignment with financial and educational objectives
• Daily responsibilities include managing operational workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing resource allocation, and coordinating major initiatives with senior leadership
• The Vice President Operations will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, improve service delivery, and ensure projects are executed on time and within budget
• This role also involves mentoring managers, establishing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement across all operational areas

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization and cross-functional coordination
• Proven experience in P&L Management, budgeting, and financial performance oversight
• Strong background in Customer Service operations, with a focus on service quality and stakeholder satisfaction
• Hands-on experience with Strategic Planning and organizational development in a growth-oriented environment
• Advanced Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management for complex initiatives
• Leadership experience in a senior operations role
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, supported by strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
• Preferably within education, technology, or services organizations
• An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
