Scrum Master (Identity & Access Management
Akkodis is seeking a – “Scrum Master (Identity & Access Management)” for a Contract positions with a client located in Remote. Pay Range: $60 - $70/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience to lead Agile delivery teams supporting enterprise IAM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience facilitating Agile practices, driving team accountability, removing impediments, and coordinating cross-functional teams working on IAM solutions. This role requires a combination of Scrum leadership, technical understanding of IAM concepts, and the ability to collaborate with product owners, security architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coach development teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and continuous improvement practices. Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize IAM product backlogs, user stories, and sprint commitments. Coordinate delivery of IAM initiatives, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and business requirements. Work closely with IAM engineers, security architects, application teams, and infrastructure teams to drive project execution. Identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and resolve delivery challenges across multiple teams. Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown charts, risks, and delivery milestones. Support implementation and enhancement of IAM solutions, including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM). Facilitate discussions around user provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, authorization, access reviews, and role-based access control (RBAC). Coordinate integration activities involving enterprise applications, directories, and identity platforms. Ensure teams follow security best practices and organizational compliance requirements. Drive accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Agile teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or technology environment. 2+ years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects or initiatives. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and Kanban practices. Experience working with IAM concepts such as: Identity Lifecycle Management. User Provisioning and De-provisioning. Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). Privileged Access Management (PAM). Access Certifications and Reviews. Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools. Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple dependencies in a complex IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification. Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk, or Ping Identity. Exposure to IAM modernization, cloud identity, and enterprise security transformation initiatives. Experience coordinating integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications. Understanding of IT security, risk management, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
