Senior Agile Business Analyst/Tester (REMOTE)
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Agile Business Analyst/Tester (REMOTE) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will bridge business and technical teams to translate operational needs into clear requirements, testable outcomes, and actionable backlog items. The ideal candidate will support Agile delivery across complex technology initiatives, helping ensure requirements are well documented, priorities are aligned, and work moves forward with clarity. You will also contribute to UAT coordination, defect management, and milestone tracking in a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment. Location: Remote Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and technology needs Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and technical requirements Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation Collaborate with teams to refine and prioritize the backlog Support Agile ceremonies and coordinate UAT activities with various teams Identify and track blockers and defects through resolution Provide program management support, including status reporting and milestone tracking Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or QA roles within tech environments Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements Strong skills in writing user stories and acceptance criteria Hands-on experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management Advanced proficiency in JIRA for managing user stories, tasks, and reporting Solid technical understanding of software applications, APIs, and SDLC processes
