Whether you are a seasoned data professional or an emerging analyst, you will find a supportive environment that values your ideas, accelerates your growth, and amplifies the impact of your work on a global scale.

Role Overview

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Sales & Customer Data Strategy Leader, you will serve as the strategic bridge between raw data and decisive action across our Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Finance functions. Working remotely from anywhere in the United States, you will partner with a diverse, globally distributed team of analysts, data engineers, product managers, and sales leaders to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and shape the future roadmap of brighthush’s product suite.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s hyper‑competitive ed‑tech landscape, data is the new currency. The ability to transform massive streams of sales and customer information into concise, strategic recommendations is essential for maintaining market leadership. Your contributions will directly influence:

  • Revenue Growth: Identify high‑value opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and uncover cross‑sell and upsell potentials that accelerate top‑line performance.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: Provide deep insights into acquisition funnels, churn drivers, and lifetime value, enabling targeted interventions that boost retention and satisfaction.
  • Product Innovation: Surface usage patterns and feature adoption trends that inform product roadmap decisions and prioritize development investments.
  • Financial Forecasting: Deliver accurate, data‑driven forecasts that improve budgeting accuracy and support strategic planning.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Power high‑impact programs such as Account‑Based Marketing, Territory Realignment, and post‑M&A integration with reliable, real‑time analytics.

By championing data quality, building robust self‑service dashboards, and delivering timely, actionable reports, you will help brighthush stay ahead of industry trends, exceed customer expectations, and continue to set the standard for educational technology excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance & Quality Management: Own the end‑to‑end integrity of sales and customer data within Salesforce and across our BI ecosystem (Tableau, Sisense, Google Data Studio). Lead data deduplication, matching, and cleansing initiatives, and establish governance frameworks that ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Reporting & Analytics Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain a suite of self‑serve dashboards and ad‑hoc reports that provide real‑time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, marketing ROI, and customer success metrics. Ensure all visualizations adhere to brand standards, are globally consistent, and align with agreed‑upon KPIs.
  • Data Integration & Automation: Manage both manual and automated data loads from critical platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, ERP systems) into BI tools. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to onboard new data sources, expand the analytical data model, and improve data latency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Partnering: Act as the trusted analytics advisor for Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance leaders. Conduct discovery sessions to capture business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic Project Enablement: Support high‑visibility initiatives such as Account‑Based Marketing campaigns, Territory Realignment projects, and M&A data integration. Produce the analytical deliverables, data uploads, and performance dashboards needed to ensure seamless execution.
  • Tool Administration & Support: Administer Salesforce data operations (bulk loads, exports, maintenance) and oversee the health of external BI platforms. Troubleshoot data discrepancies, resolve platform issues, and provide training to end‑users on best practices.
  • Ad‑hoc Analysis & Rapid Insight Delivery: Respond swiftly to urgent business questions with on‑demand reporting, deep‑dive analyses, and executive‑level presentations that enable quick, data‑driven decision making.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior analysts, lead internal workshops on data visualization best practices, and contribute to the development of a data‑centric culture across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role with a focus on sales and customer data within a SaaS or technology‑driven environment.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce administration, including data loading, export, maintenance, and data quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Sisense, Google Data Studio, and data preparation platforms like Alteryx or similar.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders with confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Collaborative spirit and a proven track record of working cross‑functionally to achieve shared goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) or other Salesforce‑native analytics platforms.
  • Background in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, data warehousing, or data lake architectures.
  • Knowledge of subscription‑based pricing models, ARR calculations, and advanced sales forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with M&A data consolidation, territory realignment processes, and post‑integration analytics.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS, education technology, or related high‑growth industry.

Skills & Competencies

  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Mastery of creating interactive dashboards, story‑telling visualizations, and drill‑down reports that empower business users.
  • Data Governance: Deep understanding of data quality frameworks, master data management, and compliance best practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable writing complex SQL queries, building data models, and leveraging ETL tools for data transformation.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose data anomalies, root‑cause issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Communication & Influence: Skilled at presenting insights to senior leadership, crafting executive summaries, and influencing strategic direction.
  • Project Management: Experience leading analytics projects from inception to delivery, setting timelines, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly, and continuous learning is essential.
