Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Customer Engineer at brighthush, you become the linchpin between visionary technology and tangible business outcomes. Your expertise will shape the architecture of complex network solutions for our most demanding clients, ensuring they can harness the power of next‑generation connectivity. Every design you craft, every deployment you oversee, and every issue you resolve directly influences customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the broader evolution of the networking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design & Architecture: Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and high‑availability network designs that align with customer business objectives. Translate business requirements into technical blueprints, including topology diagrams, capacity plans, and redundancy strategies.
- Deployment & Configuration: Execute end‑to‑end network deployments, from initial site surveys to final configuration of routers, switches, GPON/XGS‑PON systems, and SDAN appliances. Leverage brighthush software suites to automate provisioning and enforce best‑practice templates.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/3, GPON, and IPTV issues in real time. Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and document lessons learned to improve future deployments.
- Solution Analysis & Recommendation: Perform in‑depth assessments of existing network architectures. Identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and develop migration roadmaps that minimize risk and downtime.
- Template & Tool Development: Design reusable configuration templates, capacity planning models, and traffic‑control scripts. Collaborate with product teams to refine tooling that accelerates deployment cycles.
- Integration & Acceptance Testing: Coordinate with customers to validate system integration, perform end‑to‑end testing, and ensure all service‑specific requirements (alarm testing, timing/synchronization, redundancy, call flows) meet acceptance criteria.
- Product & Process Innovation: Provide actionable feedback on new product features, process improvements, and industry standards. Champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer value.
- Subject‑Matter Leadership: Serve as the go‑to expert on network technologies within the organization. Mentor junior engineers, lead knowledge‑sharing sessions, and represent brighthush at industry forums.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value and ensuring long‑term partnership success.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in post‑implementation reviews, identify process bottlenecks, and propose data‑driven solutions to enhance service delivery.
