About brighthush
brighthush is a forward‑thinking, customer‑centric organization that thrives on turning data into delight. Position Overview
As a Customer Retention Marketing Specialist at brighthush, you will be the architect of loyalty. Your mission: design, launch, and optimize targeted campaigns that nurture at‑risk customers, guide them through the entire lifecycle, and ultimately reduce churn. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams—product, customer success, analytics—to ensure every touchpoint delivers maximum value.
Why This Role Matters
Retention is the engine of sustainable growth. While acquisition drives headline numbers, retention fuels profitability. In this role, you’ll directly influence the customer journey, turning one‑time buyers into long‑term advocates. Your insights will shape product messaging, inform feature prioritization, and help brighthush maintain its reputation as a customer‑first brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Design & Execution: Build and manage email and nurture campaigns that target customers at risk of churn. Craft compelling copy, segment audiences, and set up automated flows that guide users through key lifecycle milestones.
- Automation & Journey Mapping: Leverage marketing automation platforms to create dynamic customer journeys. Ensure seamless handoffs between marketing, sales, and support, and continuously refine triggers based on real‑time data.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor retention metrics—churn rate, LTV, engagement scores—and conduct A/B tests to identify high‑impact tactics. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for the broader marketing team.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Analytics to align retention strategies with account health goals. Provide insights that help shape product roadmaps and support initiatives.
- Content & Messaging: Write clear, persuasive copy that communicates product value and addresses common pain points. Work with design to create visually engaging assets that resonate with diverse customer segments.
- Data Stewardship: Maintain clean, segmented databases. Use segmentation logic to deliver personalized experiences and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in retention marketing. Share knowledge with the team and champion innovative approaches.
