Welcome to brighthush, the trailblazer in cloud and AI cost governance. In a world where digital transformation is accelerating at breakneck speed, enterprises are grappling with soaring cloud expenditures, complex AI workloads, and an ever‑evolving security landscape. At brighthush, we empower engineering, FinOps, and procurement teams to not only understand where money is being spent but to act on that insight instantly, turning data into decisive, bottom‑line impact.
Our platform is trusted by industry leaders such as Ticketmaster and Bayer, who have realized up to a 20‑fold return on investment within days of adoption. We don’t just report numbers; we deliver actionable intelligence that drives continuous cost optimization and strategic value for our customers.
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Senior Customer Success Director to own the post‑sale relationship with our largest North American enterprise accounts and to build the U.S. side of our Customer Success practice from the ground up. This is a player‑coach position: you will personally manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, lead the operating cadence, and, as the team expands, hire and mentor Customer Success Managers who will operate under your guidance.
Key Outcomes
- Deliver measurable, rapid savings to customers, ensuring they realize value within the first 90 days.
- Drive seamless renewals and natural expansion, turning satisfied customers into advocates.
- Establish brighthush as the go‑to partner for AI cost governance, security, and compliance.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Account Ownership
- End‑to‑end portfolio management: From kickoff to renewal, you will shepherd each account through onboarding, adoption, value realization, and expansion.
- Fast‑track savings realization: Set clear savings targets at kickoff and collaborate with engineering teams to implement remediation plans.
- Multi‑threaded relationship building: Engage stakeholders from FinOps leads to VP of Cloud Engineering, CFO offices, and procurement, and conduct quarterly executive business reviews that align brighthush outcomes with customer objectives.
- AI cost governance leadership: Champion adoption of AI and LLM spend visibility, MCP and API usage, and integration with existing AI tools—our fastest‑growing expansion channel.
- Enterprise security & compliance: Navigate vendor questionnaires, SOC 2, AI risk assessments, IAM reviews, and get stalled security reviews moving.
- Voice of the customer: Prioritize product requests, run escalations with clear severity and ownership, and ensure release notes reach the right people.
- Operating cadence: Maintain per‑account health, tier, and lifecycle stage; sync with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Renewal teams to surface risk and expansion signals.
- Public proof generation: Convert happy customers into references, reviews, case studies, and conference talks, backed by NPS and CSAT programs.
- AI‑powered CS automation: Leverage AI agents and assistants daily, refine them, and build new ones to streamline CS workflows.
- Team building: Hire, onboard, and lead U.S.‑based Customer Success Managers as the book grows, and author the playbooks they will follow.
Collaboration & Influence
- Work closely with Product, R&D, and Engineering to shape the roadmap based on customer feedback.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to align on account strategy and upsell opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders, ensuring their vision is reflected in our service delivery.
