Senior Customer Success Manager – Expansion & Revenue Growth Specialist for AI‑Driven Financial Automation Solutions
About brighthush
brighthush is a global pioneer in AI‑powered financial automation, delivering intelligent solutions that transform how businesses manage cash flow, invoicing, and financial reporting. With a mission to democratize advanced finance technology, brighthush empowers small and mid‑size enterprises (SMBs) and mid‑market organizations to unlock operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and gain real‑time insights—all while staying compliant with the latest regulatory standards. Why This Role Matters
In the fast‑evolving SaaS landscape, revenue growth is no longer a side hustle—it’s a core function of customer success. As a Senior Customer Success Manager – Expansion, you will be the catalyst that turns satisfied users into long‑term partners, driving upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across a dynamic portfolio of SMB and mid‑market accounts. Your deep product expertise, consultative mindset, and ability to translate complex AI concepts into plain language will directly influence brighthush’s growth trajectory and customer satisfaction scores.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a high‑impact portfolio of SMB and mid‑market accounts, focusing on expansion rather than retention alone.
- Identify, develop, and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities by mapping customer journeys, uncovering unmet needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client interactions, guiding non‑technical users through onboarding, adoption, and day‑to‑day usage with clear, jargon‑free communication.
- Act as a two‑way translator between customers and internal teams: capture pain points, convert them into actionable product feedback, and relay technical updates back to clients in an accessible manner.
- Monitor account health metrics (usage, NPS, renewal dates) to spot growth opportunities and mitigate churn risk proactively.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure a seamless, end‑to‑end customer experience.
- Become a product evangelist—deeply understand the AI algorithms, data pipelines, and integration capabilities that power brighthush’s platform, and communicate them in ways that resonate with business leaders.
- Drive quarterly and annual revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices to elevate the overall customer success function.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or B2B SaaS sales—preferably within a technology or fintech environment.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding expansion targets, with documented success in upselling and cross‑selling to SMB and mid‑market accounts.
- Strong consultative selling skills: ability to uncover hidden needs, articulate ROI, and close deals with non‑technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication—capable of crafting concise emails, engaging webinars, and persuasive sales decks.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of accounts in a remote setting.
- Data‑driven mindset: proficiency in using CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and analytics tools to track usage, health scores, and revenue metrics.
- Comfortable with numbers—target‑driven and able to translate performance data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI or machine‑learning products, especially in the finance or accounting domain.
- Background in financial services or accounting—understanding of cash flow, invoicing, and compliance challenges.
- Prior exposure to a high‑growth SaaS company with a global footprint.
