About brighthush
brighthush is a trailblazing technology partner that empowers SaaS companies to transform the way they engage, retain, and grow their customer base. With a mission to deliver measurable impact through data‑driven insights and actionable storytelling, brighthush blends cutting‑edge analytics, AI, and customer success expertise to help businesses unlock the full value of every digital touchpoint. Our culture is built on curiosity, collaboration, and a relentless focus on outcomes that matter—whether that means faster time‑to‑value for a new user or higher net revenue retention for an enterprise client.
Why This Role Matters
In the fast‑moving world of SaaS, understanding how every interaction—email, in‑app prompt, or one‑on‑one call—contributes to customer success is the difference between a good product and a great one. As the Senior Data Analyst – Customer Journey & Attribution Specialist, you will become the bridge between data and strategy, turning raw metrics into clear, actionable narratives that guide product teams, marketing, and customer success leaders. Your work will directly influence how brighthush’s clients accelerate adoption, reduce churn, and drive expansion revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Attribution Modeling & Impact Tracing
- Design, build, and continuously refine multi‑touch attribution frameworks that isolate the impact of digital campaigns, product usage, and CSM interventions.
- Integrate data from email platforms, in‑app analytics, Gainsight CTA outcomes, and CRM lifecycle stages into a unified data pipeline.
- Translate early‑stage adoption metrics (TTV, active usage, feature adoption) into long‑term financial outcomes such as NRR and expansion revenue.
- Campaign Feedback & Journey Optimization
- Provide data‑backed recommendations to Campaign Strategy and Product Insight teams to fine‑tune intervention thresholds, targeting rules, and messaging.
- Segment audiences by behavior and usage patterns, collaborating with stakeholders to refine trigger logic for automated campaigns.
- Identify bottlenecks and drop‑off points across the customer journey, recommending targeted interventions that yield the highest incremental lift.
- Data Operations & Reporting
- Own data hygiene across disparate systems—clean, transform, and standardize datasets to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Insights and CS Ops to unify identity resolution and event logging across the post‑sale journey.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI that provide real‑time visibility into campaign performance, attribution splits, and channel efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate SQL writing, data cleaning, and complex analysis.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or revenue/customer success operations.
- At least 2 years focused on attribution modeling or lifecycle analytics within a SaaS environment.
- Advanced SQL proficiency; hands‑on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship and legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience building multi‑touch attribution models using SQL, Python, or R.
- Deep experience connecting hybrid digital engagement metrics (in‑app triggers, email engagement) with Gainsight CTA outcomes and CRM lifecycle stages.
- Advanced understanding of full‑funnel SaaS economics—time‑to‑value, active usage, feature adoption, and their correlation to NRR and expansion revenue.
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for accelerating analytical workflows.
- Experience with cross‑system integration and data warehousing at scale.
