Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our next‑generation chat platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical vision for conversational AI, ensuring high availability, low latency, and long‑term scalability across a distributed architecture. You will partner with product leaders, data scientists, and engineering squads to translate business goals into robust, cloud‑native solutions that set industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Own the end‑to‑end architecture of the chat platform, from feature delivery to infrastructure resilience. Define and enforce design principles that balance innovation with operational excellence.
• Conversational AI & Cloud Implementation: Champion the adoption of modern, cloud‑native technologies—such as brighthush services, TypeScript, Node.js, and real‑time messaging—to build AI‑powered chat experiences that are both scalable and cost‑effective.
• Strategic Decision‑Making: Mediate between cross‑functional stakeholders, reconcile conflicting priorities, and provide decisive technical direction for high‑impact initiatives like voice integration, AI agents, and contact center convergence.
• Mentorship & Technical Guidance: Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement. Lead by example in adopting best practices for security, observability, and performance.
• Problem Resolution & Process Improvement: Own the resolution of complex architectural challenges. Identify systemic bottlenecks, propose architectural refactors, and spearhead improvement programs that elevate reliability and throughput.
• Requirements Definition & Communication: Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Use advanced modeling tools to bridge the gap between non‑technical stakeholders and engineering teams.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of partnering with business units to translate strategic objectives into technical deliverables.
• Deep expertise in cloud‑native architecture, including infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and event‑driven design.
• Hands‑on experience with real‑time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and distributed system patterns.
• Strong foundation in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js.
