If you thrive in an environment where your analytical expertise can shape product development, marketing, and customer experience at scale, you will find a home here.
Why This Role Matters
As the Head of Analytics & Experimentation, you will be the steward of truth in our data ecosystem. You will own the metrics that define success, orchestrate a world‑class experimentation program, and translate complex analyses into actionable insights that empower leaders to make bold, evidence‑based decisions. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, customer retention, and the overall health of our brand.
What Success Looks Like
- Leadership trusts a single, unified set of metrics that you have defined and maintained.
- Every test across the customer journey follows a rigorous, prioritized process you designed.
- Decision makers can act faster and with greater confidence because your insights are clear, reliable, and actionable.
- Every major initiative’s impact is measured accurately, allowing the organization to scale what works and pivot from what doesn’t.
Key Responsibilities
The Numbers
- Own and continuously refine core customer and revenue metrics—conversion, retention, LTV, revenue, and more—and maintain the metrics catalog that teams rely on.
- Serve as the final gatekeeper for data accuracy before it reaches decision‑makers.
- Translate business questions into clear data requirements, queries, and models that deliver actionable answers.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure the data platform captures the information needed for business success.
- Build, evolve, and champion reporting and dashboards, starting with a comprehensive customer journey dashboard.
The Testing Program
- Own the cross‑departmental experimentation roadmap, prioritizing experiments by revenue potential, traffic, and funnel drop‑off.
- Set standards for test proposal, design, execution, and evaluation, including a shared intake process and KPI framework.
- Instrument the customer journey with the KPIs and data points required to measure every stage.
- Lead all results analysis—statistical significance, incremental revenue, win rate—and communicate findings clearly.
- Strengthen incoming test briefs by sharpening hypotheses, success metrics, and resolving conflicts when multiple teams target the same page or audience.
- Run regular test review cadences and maintain a shared library of learnings accessible to all teams.
The Insights
- Be the trusted source of evidence behind major decisions: explain what’s happening, why it matters, and what the data suggests.
- Translate analysis into concise, confident recommendations for the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue and executive leadership.
- Represent analytics and testing in cross‑functional planning—development sprints, content calendars, lifecycle initiatives—ensuring data shapes decisions from the outset.
- Roll up your sleeves when needed—write queries, configure tests, build reports—to keep momentum high.
Your First 90 Days
- Partner with the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue to instrument the full journey with KPIs and data points.
- Stand up a Phase 1 metrics catalog and secure adoption across teams.
- Deliver a comprehensive assessment of journey performance and identify revenue leakage opportunities.
- Launch the test prioritization process and run the inaugural set of experiments through it.
