Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

• Lead the configuration of brighthush platform components, including data ingestion pipelines, edge gateways, and cloud services.
• Integrate with a wide range of industrial protocols (OPC/UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) and PLC vendors, ensuring seamless connectivity across diverse manufacturing environments.
• Set up secure, scalable containerized environments using containerization technology and orchestration tools across major cloud platforms.
• Develop custom data models and scripts (Python, JavaScript) to extend platform functionality and meet unique customer needs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to refine solution architecture and ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide proactive, customer‑centric support, diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, data integrity, and performance.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience implementing IIoT or industrial automation solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) and experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, including package management, shell scripting, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of relational and time‑series databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Hands‑on experience with industrial protocols (OPC/UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) and PLC programming.
• Experience with major cloud platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and JavaScript, with a track record of building automation scripts and data pipelines.
