brighthush is redefining the hospitality experience with an award‑winning, AI‑driven property operations platform. Our solution orchestrates, communicates, and verifies every detail of property care, powering over 55 million tasks for thousands of short‑term rental managers and hospitality operators worldwide. By eliminating manual work and elevating guest experiences, we help our customers boost operational efficiency, increase service revenue, and build lasting relationships with their guests.

Why Join brighthush?

At brighthush, we sit at the intersection of cutting‑edge artificial intelligence and one of the fastest‑growing segments in hospitality. Our remote‑first culture empowers teams across the U.S. and Spain to collaborate, innovate, and ship quickly. As a high‑visibility member of a lean, high‑output marketing squad, you’ll own end‑to‑end lifecycle programs that directly influence revenue and customer advocacy. If you thrive in a fast‑moving, growth‑stage environment and want to shape the future of property operations, brighthush is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Pre‑Sale Journey – Map, build, and continuously optimize the path from new lead to Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL), Sales Qualified Lead (SQL), and closed opportunity. Recycle closed‑lost and stalled opportunities back into the pipeline.
  • Enhance Lead Scoring & Lifecycle Models – Collaborate with Demand Generation to refine scoring, lifecycle stages, and handoff rules. Trigger and personalize nurture sequences that move prospects deeper into the funnel.
  • Build Post‑Sale Programs – Design onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal journeys using HubSpot email, HubSpot agents, and in‑app tools such as Appcues. Align timing, triggers, and audiences with Customer Operations.
  • Drive Feature Adoption – Partner with Product Marketing to launch new features to existing customers, increasing adoption rates and uncovering upsell opportunities.
  • Run Rigorous Tests – Execute A/B and multivariate experiments on subject lines, copy, creative, and channel mix. Co‑design journey‑logic tests with Customer Operations to validate hypotheses.
  • Measure & Report – Own pre‑sale funnel reporting and program‑influenced pipeline metrics. Jointly define success metrics for post‑sale programs and present insights to leadership.
  • Lead Customer Marketing Motions – Own advocacy, reviews, newsletters, and product update communications that keep customers engaged and loyal.
  • Scale with AI – Leverage AI tools to automate and personalize campaigns for targeted audiences, improving relevance and efficiency.
  • Maintain Email Health – Ensure deliverability, list hygiene, preference centers, and compliance with CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or customer marketing, with at least 3 years at a SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of lifecycle programs that moved a revenue metric—pipeline, conversion, activation, retention, or expansion—backed by quantifiable results.
  • Hands‑on expertise in a marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Customer.io, or similar). Ability to build journeys directly, not through a ticket queue.
  • Strong command of segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, and CRM data hygiene.
  • Experience using product usage data to trigger and personalize campaigns.
  • Rigorous testing mindset and comfort with analytics—able to build reports, read cohorts, and explain what changed and why.
  • Sharp, concise writing skills—capable of drafting copy that converts.
  • Cross‑functional credibility with Sales, Customer Success, and Product—able to align teams on handoffs and hold them accountable.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast‑moving, growth‑stage environment.
  • Early adopter of AI tools, with an interest in scaling personalization, content, and testing.
  • Experience with in‑app messaging or product‑led growth tools (Appcues, Pendo, Intercom).

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

  • Experience at a SaaS company serving short‑term rental, property management, or vacation rental operators.
  • Marketing to SMB and independent operators, not just enterprise buyers.
  • Familiarity with account‑based or signal‑based programs that blend marketing and sales outreach.
  • Experience running customer advocacy, referral, or review programs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking with a data‑driven execution mindset.
  • Exceptional communication—both written and verbal—across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills: prioritize initiatives, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality work.
  • Adaptability: thrive in a remote, distributed team while maintaining strong collaboration.
  • Creativity: develop compelling copy and creative assets that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Technical fluency: comfortable with marketing automation, CRM, analytics dashboards, and basic SQL.
