In this operational leadership role, you will sit closest to the customer and the front‑line team, translating strategy into execution, coaching your team to excellence, and driving continuous improvement across the renewal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Renewal Outcomes Ownership: Own the renewal performance of your assigned book of business and lead your team to meet or exceed renewal rate, linearity, multi‑year attach, and uplift targets.
- Team Leadership & Development: Conduct regular 1‑on‑1s, provide real‑time feedback, model strong customer engagement, and build a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Operating Discipline: Establish consistent rhythms—weekly forecast reviews, monthly business reviews—to keep the team focused and accountable.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align renewal strategy, share insights, and ensure smooth handoffs.
- Escalation Management: Own escalations from your team, resolve customer issues, protect relationships, and recover opportunities.
- Strategic Insight: Track early indicators of risk and opportunity, diagnose why deals are winning or losing, and coach managers on coverage strategy and selling approach.
- Process Improvement: Identify skill gaps, process inefficiencies, or coaching needs; provide targeted coaching or flag issues to leadership.
- Analytics & Reporting: Leverage data on team performance, operational hygiene, and risk indicators; communicate insights to leadership and the team.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Hire and onboard Renewal Managers who fit the team culture and have the potential to succeed; invest in their ramp and early success.
- Culture Building: Create an environment where people want to do their best work, celebrate wins, support through challenges, and model the behaviors you expect.
- High‑Potential Development: Identify and develop high‑potential Renewal Managers who could grow into management or senior individual contributor roles.
