Sr. Software Development Engineer / Technical Lead (AI Focus)

Position: Sr Software Developer Engineer / Technical Lead (AI Focus) Location: 100% Remote Role Overview & Key Responsibilities: Serve as a hands-on Lead Software Developer and Solution Architect responsible for technical direction, architecture ownership, and continuous code delivery. Architect, build, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications with a backend-heavy Python focus and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred, React accepted). Drive adoption and implementation of modern AI patterns including Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), LangGraph, RAG, and AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude). Architect scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or GCP. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and clearly communicate technical tradeoffs to executive and customer-facing stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Skills: Proven track record as a Lead Developer / Architect who remains actively engaged in hands-on coding and software delivery. Strong hands-on Python development experience building enterprise APIs, microservices, and backend systems. Practical full-stack experience utilizing Vue.js or React. Demonstrated experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP). Practical hands-on experience with Agentic AI, MCP, LangGraph, or RAG architecture. Strong engineering judgment, architecture ownership, customer-facing communication, and technical mentoring skills. Preferred: Experience with Terraform/IaC, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD DevOps, and application modernization.
