Staff Firmware Engineer

Seeking a hands-on technical leader, the full-time remote Staff Firmware Engineer will drive the development of intelligent video and AI-driven safety solutions, owning outcomes across embedded systems, backend services, and user interfaces. Key responsibilities Own outcomes from customer problems to shipped features across firmware, backend services, and web/mobile interfaces Drive technology choices and implement embedded and firmware solutions with a significant impact on product architecture Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and build next-generation devices and ensure high-quality AI algorithm performance at the edge Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in software design, development, and deployment, with significant expertise in embedded systems and firmware Proven experience shipping products across the stack, including firmware, backend services, and web/mobile applications Strong programming skills in C/C++, Go, Python, or similar languages Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies Experience using AI tools in engineering work and enhancing team AI fluency Experience: 10 years required
