Starlink Experience Manager - Sacramento CA

Job Description

As a Retail Area Manager for Starlink products at Best Buy, you’ll support and coordinate the Starlink sales team members in select locations. You’ll be responsible for hiring, training, developing, coaching and supporting up to 25 people across a multi-state territory. You’ll coordinate with store leadership to support the activities, training and engagement of your sales team. In this role, you’ll become a subject matter expert on Starlink devices and use your knowledge to support and evaluate direct reports’ effectiveness What you’ll do

• Lead the team to meet key performance indicator (KPI) goals
• Facilitate the hiring process including posting roles and interviewing
• Host team calls and meetings on a regular cadence
• Share best practices across direct reports, peers and corporate support
• Attend off-site multi-day training as needed
• Support program reporting requirements

Basic qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of leadership experience
• Previous experience in sales, customer service or related field
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends

Preferred qualifications

• One year of consumer electronics industry experience
• Prior experience setting retail sales goals
• Proven leadership acumen
• Group training experience, both in-person and virtually
• Microsoft suite proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
