Role Overview

As a Strategic Enterprise Customer Success Manager for the East Coast, you will be the quarterback of a portfolio of high‑impact enterprise accounts. Your mission is to guide customers from initial deployment through long‑term value realization, ensuring they achieve measurable business outcomes with Brighthush’s platform. You will build deep relationships with customer leadership, orchestrate cross‑functional internal resources, and uncover strategic expansion opportunities—all while maintaining a laser focus on platform adoption and customer health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Value Realization & Account Leadership – Partner with key stakeholders to define success metrics, build actionable adoption roadmaps, and track progress toward clear ROI. Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and operational syncs to align Brighthush capabilities with customer priorities.
  • Relationship Mapping – Cultivate strong relationships with Executive Sponsors, Economic Buyers, and internal champions across engineering, DevOps, and platform teams. Actively identify and develop new champions to drive adoption.
  • Account Governance – Maintain account success plans, monitor health metrics, and mobilize internal resources to proactively resolve risks.
  • Strategic Discovery & Expansion Pipeline – Deeply understand customer workflows to uncover unaddressed needs, expansion pathways, and professional services opportunities. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to flag growth potential and hand off commercial execution.
  • Resource Orchestration – Serve as the primary point of alignment, pulling in Professional Services for complex implementations, Support for technical troubleshooting, and Field CTOs for deep architectural guidance.
  • Domain Fluency – Maintain a solid, working acumen around DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and modern development practices (e.g., AI/agentic coding) to speak intelligently with engineering leaders.
  • Internal Collaboration – Act as the central hub connecting internal teams (AE, PS, Support, Field CTOs, Product Management, Engineering) to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Retention & Growth – Drive retention and account growth through strategic alignment, while recognizing that contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and legal execution remain the responsibility of the Account Executive.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Client Account Management, or Strategic Account Management within enterprise SaaS or IT consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts, conducting EBRs, and driving adoption programs.
  • High technical aptitude: ability to converse fluently with Engineering Leaders, DevOps Managers, and Enterprise Architects on software delivery challenges.
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in organizational change management, helping teams overcome workflow inertia.
  • Customer advocacy: turning mature champions into reference accounts, public case studies, and Customer Advisory Board participants.
  • Alignment with Brighthush values: Customer Obsessed, High Agency, Truth Seeking, Hard Work, Ship Excellence, Direct Feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of modern SDLC, DevOps culture, CI/CD, and enterprise cloud deployments.
  • Experience working alongside Professional Services and Technical Support teams to deliver complex customer outcomes.
  • Familiarity with AI/agentic coding concepts and how they impact governance.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Account Leadership – ability to map customer journeys and align them with Brighthush’s value proposition.
  • Technical Fluency – comfortable discussing architecture, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure without writing code.
  • Stakeholder Management – adept at building trust with VPs, CIOs, Directors, and technical leads.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making – use metrics to drive insights, forecast outcomes, and inform strategy.
  • Collaboration & Influence – work cross‑functionally with PS, Support, Field CTOs, Product, and Engineering.
  • Communication – articulate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Problem Solving – own problems beyond your job description and move without waiting to be asked.

At Brighthush, your career path is designed to evolve with your ambitions. As a Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • Progress to Senior Customer Success Manager, Director of Customer Success, or VP of Customer Success roles.
  • Gain exposure to product strategy, go‑to‑market planning, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Participate in leadership development programs, mentorship, and cross‑functional projects.
