Territory Sales Manager, Commercial HVAC Distribution Build and own a commercial HVAC sales territory from the ground up as part of a major Florida expansion. You'll find the contractors, win the accounts and keep growing them. Location: Orlando, FL (also hiring in Jacksonville, Tampa and South Florida) Job Type: Full-time, direct hire Schedule: Home-office based with field travel, Monday to Friday, about 80% on the road Pay: $80,000 to $150,000 per year, base plus commission, plus car allowance Must-Haves Proven outside sales experience in HVAC distribution or commercial HVAC Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and applications Track record of selling to mechanical contractors Experience managing a territory, covering both new business and account growth Strong pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Able to pass a background check and drug screen
What You'll Do
Build and execute a territory sales plan for your Florida market Prospect and develop relationships with mechanical contractors and commercial HVAC customers Pursue new projects, replacements and competitive conversions Own your accounts long term, from first meeting through ongoing growth Bring in inside sales, technical specialists and manufacturers to close deals Follow up on quotes and keep your pipeline and CRM current Track competitor activity and market trends for sales leadership Nice-to-Haves 5+ years in commercial HVAC outside sales and territory management An established contractor network or portable book of business in your market NetSuite or other CRM/ERP experience Bachelor's in business, sales or marketing, or equivalent experience Compensation and Benefits $80,000 to $150,000, base plus commission based on experience and track record Car allowance Medical, dental and vision 401(k) with company match Paid time off
