US-based phone research assistant: 5-8 short calls per week, written summaries
I'm looking for a reliable part-time assistant to make short informational phone calls to US businesses, courts, and government offices on my behalf (Ohio, Eastern time, 9 AM to 4 PM ET). HOW IT WORKS Each week I send a batch of 5 to 8 calls with the phone number, the questions to ask, and what to bring back. You call, ask the questions, and reply with a written summary the same day: who you spoke to, what they said, any form names or links they gave, and any follow-up they suggested. Answers are numbered to match the batch. WHAT THIS IS NOT No sales, no account access, no payments, no personal data. You will never be asked to give my SSN, account numbers, or card numbers, and you will never pretend to be me. You say "I'm calling on behalf of Chris Tolliver." If an office will only speak to the account holder, you note that and move on. WHAT YOU NEED - Fluent, confident English on the phone - A line that can call US numbers during Eastern business hours (US, Canada, or Philippines-based all fine as long as the calls connect cleanly) - Comfort with phone menus and hold times (if a wait passes 25 minutes, note it and move on) - Same-day written summaries, one message per batch TIME AND PAY About 2 to 3 hours per week to start. Quote hourly or per call. We start with a paid trial batch of 5 calls at a flat $25; if that goes well, it becomes a weekly standing batch. To apply, tell me in two sentences about phone-based research or customer-contact work you've done, and confirm you can call US numbers during Eastern business hours.
