Vice President of Finance Location: Remote – United States Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Finance Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and financial operations. This role works closely with senior leadership to support business decisions, manage financial risks, and maintain the company’s long-term financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Oversee financial reporting and analyze business performance. Manage cash flow, expense control, and financial resource allocation. Develop financial strategies to support company growth. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial regulations. Work with department leaders to improve financial efficiency. Present financial results and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 8+ years of finance experience, including management or leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, master’s degree in Finance, or CPA certification. Experience with financial systems, process improvement, and strategic planning.
