Role Description The Vice President of Global Business Engineering is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing strategic initiatives that expand and optimize logistics operations across markets. This position oversees cross-functional business engineering projects, aligning technology, process design, and commercial strategies to improve performance, scalability, and customer outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business and financial data, leading complex transformation programs, collaborating with sales and operations teams to design integrated solutions, and ensuring that project portfolios support long-term growth objectives. The role also involves building and mentoring high-performing teams, establishing best practices for project management and business analysis, and partnering with executive leadership to drive innovation and global expansion.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Finance and business analysis skills to support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and investment decisions. Project management expertise, including leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines and resources, and delivering measurable outcomes. Sales and commercial acumen, with experience in developing solutions, supporting business development, and building client relationships. Proven leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or related fields, preferably in a senior or executive role. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and communicate clearly across cultures and time zones. Advanced problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage. Familiarity with logistics technologies, digital platforms, and process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
