Vice-President of Global Market Expansion

Role Description The Vice-President of Global Market Expansion at BlackFinder, an anti-drone solution within the Thales group, is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing global go-to-market strategies. This position oversees international market analysis, prioritization of target regions, and the development of entry plans that align with regulatory, security, and commercial requirements. The role includes leading cross-functional teams to launch BlackFinder solutions in new markets, building and managing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through coordinated sales initiatives. The Vice-President will collaborate closely with product, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliant, profitable, and scalable expansion. Day-to-day activities include monitoring market performance, optimizing commercial models, representing the solution in high-level customer and industry forums, and reporting progress to executive leadership.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills to assess markets, evaluate competitive landscapes, and interpret complex data for decision-making. Finance and Trading experience to structure commercially sound deals, manage pricing strategies, and understand risk and return in global markets. Sales expertise to build and lead international sales strategies, support key account negotiations, and drive revenue growth across regions. Project Management capabilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines and budgets, and oversee simultaneous expansion projects. Proven track record in global market expansion, business development, or international strategy within technology, defense, or security-related industries. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, multicultural teams and external stakeholders, including government and enterprise clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset. Experience operating in highly regulated environments and familiarity with compliance, export controls, or cybersecurity considerations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to set vision, influence senior stakeholders, and drive accountability in a matrixed organization. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
