Role Description The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations across multiple regions and markets. This role will guide global supply chain activities, including sourcing, logistics, inventory optimization, and distribution to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of building materials. The individual will develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives, drive operational excellence initiatives, and establish metrics and performance standards. Daily responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing key projects, monitoring operational KPIs, mitigating risks, and improving processes and systems to support scalability and efficiency. The role will also involve close collaboration with executive leadership, suppliers, and customers to strengthen partnerships, support growth, and maintain high service levels.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Operational Excellence skills to design, optimize, and scale global processes. Candidates should possess robust Supply Chain Management expertise, including sourcing, logistics, inventory control, and distribution in a multi-region environment. Candidates should possess advanced Strategic Planning capabilities to align operational goals with long-term business growth and market expansion. Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget. Extensive experience in senior operations or supply chain leadership roles, ideally within building materials, construction products, or related industries. Proven ability to lead diverse, remote teams, build alignment across global stakeholders, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience using data and KPIs to drive performance and efficiency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and results to executive leadership and external partners. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Experience working in remote or distributed work environments and comfort with modern collaboration and ERP
