Vice President of Global Planning Services
Role Description The Vice President of Global Planning Services is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of service offerings worldwide. This role involves defining and executing global planning frameworks, aligning professional services delivery with client needs, and ensuring projects are scoped, scheduled, and managed effectively. The Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction, optimize service processes, and establish performance metrics and best practices. Daily responsibilities include leading planning teams, mentoring managers, reviewing project portfolios, resolving escalated service issues, and communicating status and recommendations to executive stakeholders. The role also includes developing long-term service strategies, supporting business development initiatives, and identifying opportunities to expand and refine global service capabilities.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to drive Customer Satisfaction and oversee Service Delivery in a complex, global environment. Experience leading Professional Services organizations, with a focus on solution implementation and client success. Strong Project Management skills, including portfolio oversight, risk management, and resource planning. Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including building high-performing teams and coaching managers and specialists. Extensive experience in strategic planning and operations for technology or professional services companies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills at executive levels. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment and collaborate across time zones and cultures. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred. Background in web technologies, digital services, or IT consulting is highly beneficial.
