Role Description The Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities across the company’s palm oil and biomass export business. This position leads operations strategy, optimizes supply chain processes, and ensures compliance with quality, sustainability, and delivery standards in international markets. Day-to-day tasks include managing cross-functional teams, monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating with commercial, logistics, and finance departments. The role also involves supporting P&L performance, managing operational risks, improving customer service experience, and aligning operational plans with the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to lead complex, multi-country workflows and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in P&L Management and Strategic Planning to support financial performance and long-term operational strategy. Customer Service expertise to maintain high service levels and foster strong relationships with international buyers and partners. Proven leadership abilities, including team management, stakeholder engagement, and remote collaboration across diverse cultures. Background in export, commodities, supply chain, or manufacturing is highly beneficial; experience in palm oil or biomass is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in English; additional language abilities are an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
