Role Description The Vice President of Portfolio Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s investment and asset portfolio to support long-term strategic and financial goals. This position leads portfolio strategy development, evaluates new investment opportunities, and manages risk and performance across multiple asset classes. Day-to-day activities include analyzing financial data, monitoring market trends, optimizing asset allocation, and preparing reports and presentations for executive leadership. The role collaborates closely with finance, operations, and senior management to align portfolio decisions with business objectives and capital planning. The Vice President will also establish governance standards, enhance portfolio management processes, and mentor team members involved in investment and asset management activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Portfolio Management and Asset Management skills, with experience overseeing diversified portfolios and optimizing asset allocation. Candidates should possess Investments and Finance skills, including expertise in financial modeling, valuation, capital markets, and corporate finance principles. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, assess risk, and make evidence-based decisions. Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors is beneficial, along with a proven track record in senior leadership or executive roles. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is preferred. Candidates should possess strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills, and be able to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
