Vice President of Strategic Operations
Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing core business operations across the organization. This position leads the development and execution of strategic plans, aligns operational initiatives with financial and customer outcomes, and ensures that cross-functional projects are delivered on time and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing operational performance metrics, guiding P&L decisions, coordinating with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in processes and service delivery. The role also involves mentoring operational teams, evaluating risks and opportunities, and communicating clear recommendations to executive leadership to support sustainable growth. The Vice President of Strategic Operations collaborates with internal stakeholders to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency and financial discipline.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management capabilities, including experience optimizing processes, setting performance metrics, and leading cross-functional operations teams. Demonstrated expertise in P&L Management, financial analysis, budgeting, and making data-informed decisions to improve profitability and efficiency. Proven track record in Customer Service leadership, with the ability to design and support service models that improve client satisfaction and retention. Advanced Strategic Planning skills, including long-term roadmap development, organizational alignment, and translating strategy into executable initiatives. Robust Project Management skills, with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation through completion. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; comfort working with data and performance dashboards. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment at executive and team levels in a remote environment. Prior leadership experience in operations or strategy roles, preferably at the director level or above.
