(Voiceover), Chorus / Ensemble Actor Job in 'Say it Out Loud', Age 18-30 - Documentary Voices, "Life You Want"
You're a college student or recent grad who just got stopped by a classmate making a documentary and asked a question you didn't expect. You haven't thought about it in a while, so you're figuring out your answer as you say it, a little awkward, a little honest. You're not trying to sound wise. You're just telling the truth about what you'd want if things were easy. You'll answer the question: "If you could snap your fingers and have the life you want, what would it be?" What's involved: You'll receive a short scripted answer (5-15 seconds). Record: Five takes of the scripted answer. Vary them. Put it in your own words if it feels more natural, slow down, speed up, pause, laugh, whatever feels real. One take of your own honest answer to the same question. No script, just you. Production wants natural, unpolished, conversational delivery, like a real person being interviewed on the street. Pauses, "ums" and small laughs are welcome.
