VP of Leadership Development

Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and executing leadership development initiatives for members of Women Presidents Organization Switzerland. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs analyses to identify leadership gaps and priorities, crafting development strategies and curricula, and overseeing the implementation of training programs, workshops, and peer-learning sessions. The role involves collaborating with chapter leaders and external experts to deliver high-impact content, advising members on succession planning and talent development, and continuously assessing program effectiveness using feedback and performance data. The VP will also support the creation of leadership resources and toolkits, maintain alignment with global WPO standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive leadership across the community.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development and Succession Planning, with a track record of building scalable development programs for senior leaders. Strong capabilities in Needs Analysis and Consulting to assess member requirements and tailor solutions to diverse business contexts. Hands-on experience in Training design and delivery, including workshops, executive coaching frameworks, and peer-learning formats. Proven strategic thinking, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally in membership organizations or executive networks. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, multicultural environments. Relevant academic background (e.g., Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, HR, or related field) and experience in leadership roles. Familiarity with digital learning tools, virtual collaboration platforms, and data-driven evaluation of development programs.
