VP of Manufacturing Operations

Role Description The VP of Manufacturing Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and refurbishment activities for household appliances and electronics. This position leads operations strategy, establishes performance targets, and ensures that production processes align with safety, quality, and social inclusion objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end operations, coordinating supply chain and inventory, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including workshop managers, logistics, and leadership, to support organizational growth, cost efficiency, and compliance. The VP of Manufacturing Operations also mentors team leads, implements best practices, and uses data to guide decision-making and long-term planning.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management to oversee end-to-end production and refurbishment activities. Proficiency in Operations Management and Operational Excellence to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management to coordinate procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor relationships. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with the ability to manage remote teams and multi-site operations. Experience implementing quality, safety, and compliance standards within production settings. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with competence in using data and KPIs to manage performance. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with sensitivity to social inclusion and mission-driven work. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations management, industrial management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
