VP of Operations
Role Description The VP of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the operational strategy and performance of The Service Leaderboard. This position will lead the design and optimization of processes across content, partnerships, and community engagement to ensure consistent quality and scalability. The VP of Operations will manage budgets and P&L performance, establish operational KPIs, and monitor results to support sustainable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing cross-functional projects, aligning operations with strategic goals, and collaborating with leadership to improve user and partner experiences. The role also involves mentoring team members, implementing best practices in hospitality-focused operations, and ensuring that the platform delivers reliable, high-impact services to its audience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, performance metrics, and cross-functional coordination. Candidates should possess P&L Management capabilities, such as budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control to support sustainable growth. Candidates should possess Customer Service expertise, with a focus on guest experience, stakeholder management, and relationship building in hospitality or service-driven environments. Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills, including goal setting, operational roadmapping, and aligning initiatives with long-term business objectives. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and leading complex initiatives across remote teams. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in the hospitality industry, prior leadership in operations or general management roles, and familiarity with digital platforms or online communities. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities, with comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
