VP of Operations

Role Description The VP of Operations (part-time, remote) oversees operational efficiency and strategic execution across the Faculty of Arts – Antwerp’s programs and initiatives. This role coordinates day-to-day operations, including resource planning, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with academic and administrative teams. The VP of Operations contributes to strategic planning, aligns operational goals with the faculty’s academic mission, and supports budgeting and P&L-related decision-making. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, guiding project implementation, improving stakeholder and learner experiences, and ensuring that remote operations adhere to institutional policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process improvement, resource coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should possess expertise in Strategic Planning and P&L Management to align operations with institutional goals and support financial sustainability. Candidates should possess Project Management skills for planning, executing, and evaluating operational and academic projects. Candidates should possess Customer Service and stakeholder relationship skills to support learners, faculty, and partners in a professional, responsive manner. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in higher education or research environments, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with digital collaboration tools. An advanced degree in business administration, management, education management, or a related field is preferred, along with proven leadership experience in an operations-focused role.
