Chief Technology Officer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will define and drive the overall technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term product vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading software development initiatives, overseeing architecture and infrastructure decisions, and guiding product development from concept to delivery. The CTO will collaborate closely with executive leadership, product teams, and operations to prioritize projects, manage budgets, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. The role also involves setting technical standards, mentoring engineering teams, managing vendor and partner relationships, and implementing best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Software Development and Product Development, with a track record of delivering scalable, high-quality technology solutions. Proven experience in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing robust systems and aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives. Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and lead cross-functional teams. Leadership experience in a senior technology role, ideally as CTO or VP of Engineering, in fast-paced or growth-stage organizations. Advanced understanding of cloud platforms, security best practices, and modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience building and mentoring diverse, inclusive technical teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
