Deltek Vision Data Migration Consultant

Job Title: Deltek Vision Data Migration Consultant Location: Remote Duration: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Deltek Vision Data Migration Consultant to support a critical ERP data migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Deltek Vision ERP and a strong background in planning, mapping, cleansing, validating, and migrating business data into the Deltek Vision platform. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and ERP administrators to ensure accurate and successful data conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data migration activities into Deltek Vision ERP. Analyze legacy system data and define migration strategies. Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading (ETL). Map legacy data to the Deltek Vision data model. Develop and execute migration scripts and reconciliation processes. Conduct data quality assessments and resolve migration issues. Validate migrated data with business users and functional teams. Coordinate mock migrations, UAT support, and production cutover activities. Work closely with finance, accounting, HR, project management, and IT teams. Document migration processes, mapping documents, and technical specifications. Troubleshoot data conversion issues and recommend best practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of ERP data migration experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Deltek Vision ERP. Strong understanding of Deltek Vision database structure and modules. Experience with data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred). Experience with ETL tools or custom migration scripts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
