Role Overview

As a Digital Sales & Customer Support Executive, you will be the frontline champion for brighthush’s digital portfolio. You will own the full sales cycle—from qualifying inbound leads and delivering compelling product demos to closing deals and ensuring customer success. Simultaneously, you will provide first‑line support, onboard new users, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback to drive product enhancements. This hybrid role is ideal for early‑career professionals who thrive on both commercial and technical challenges in a fast‑growing life‑sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Sales

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads generated through the brighthush website, industry events, marketing campaigns, and partner referrals.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ pharmacovigilance workflows, safety databases, case volumes, and pain points.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and manage trials or pilots through to conversion.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting to biotech, pharma, and CRO contacts, collaborating closely with the marketing team on campaign execution.
  • Prepare accurate quotes in line with brighthush’s pricing framework, escalating non‑standard terms to senior leadership.
  • Close subscription and licence deals independently, while supporting senior colleagues on larger opportunities.
  • Identify upsell, renewal, and expansion opportunities within existing digital customers.
  • Escalate enquiries for outsourced PV services to the broader business development team promptly.

Customer Support

  • Serve as the first‑line support for digital customers via email, ticketing, chat, and video calls.
  • Onboard new customers: set up accounts, deliver user training, and accelerate time‑to‑value.
  • Troubleshoot user issues, reproduce problems, and document findings for escalation to product owners or IT teams.
  • Track support tickets to resolution within agreed service levels.
  • Create and maintain help‑centre articles, FAQs, how‑to guides, and training materials.
  • Collect customer feedback and feature requests, synthesising themes for the product team.

CRM, Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain HubSpot to reflect accurate contacts, deals, activities, and tickets in accordance with brighthush’s HubSpot SOP.
  • Generate weekly reports on pipeline, conversions, renewals, and support metrics.
  • Adhere to brighthush’s quality, GDPR, and information security procedures at all times.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field (desirable).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer‑facing role: SaaS sales, inside sales, SDR/BDR, customer success, or technical support.
  • Right to work in the UK or an EU country in Central Europe.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 or native).
  • Comfortable using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and ticketing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to pharmacovigilance, drug safety, regulatory affairs, or clinical research.
  • Familiarity with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg) or PV concepts such as ICSR, MedDRA, and GVP.
  • Interest in AI and automation tools.
  • Second European language (e.g., German, Czech, Polish, or French).
