Role Description The Director of Accounting Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the clinic’s financial and accounting activities. This position manages the preparation and review of financial statements, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising accounting processes, monitoring cash flow, coordinating budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing financial performance to support strategic decision-making. The Director collaborates with leadership and operational teams, optimizes accounting systems and procedures, and prepares clear financial insights and recommendations for management.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to lead and improve accounting operations. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and ensuring accurate Financial Reporting. Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decisions. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage. Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role, preferably in healthcare or service-based organizations. Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the ability to manage teams and processes in a distributed environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to ethical and transparent practices.
