Role Description The Director of Portfolio Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s property portfolio across Turkey and the UK. This role involves setting portfolio strategy, evaluating investment opportunities, and optimizing asset performance to align with business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial and market data, prioritizing and managing property refurbishment and acquisition projects, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The Director will develop and maintain portfolio management frameworks, monitor risk and returns, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership. This position also requires continuous improvement of processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends, financial performance, and portfolio risk/return profiles. Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Portfolio Management skills to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and oversee project delivery across multiple properties. Candidates should possess Finance and Portfolio Management skills to manage budgets, assess investment viability, and optimize portfolio value over time. Candidates should have experience in real estate or property investment, preferably in multi-market or cross-border environments. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities, with a track record of leadership in a remote or distributed team setting. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, real estate, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP) are an advantage.
