Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aligned is seeking practicing structured finance and derivatives attorneys to support frontier AI research. The role involves evaluating AI models, creating and verifying graduate-level problems and solutions, and assessing AI-generated legal reasoning.
Responsibilities
- This role includes evaluating and pressure-testing leading AI models on expert-level structured finance and derivatives knowledge, creating and verifying graduate-level problems and worked solutions, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained structured finance and derivatives attorney
Skills
- You are a practicing attorney with 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Asset-Backed Securities, RMBS & Residential Mortgage Finance, CMBS & Commercial Real Estate Securitization, CLOs & Corporate Structured Credit, Esoteric & Operating Asset Securitization, Warehouse, Repurchase & Structured Term Financing Facilities, Synthetic Risk Transfer & Credit Risk Transfer, Securitization Regulation, ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes & Confirmations, Repo & Securities Lending Documentation, Swap Regulation, Structured Products & Credit Derivatives, or Prime Brokerage & Trading Agreements
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- JD from a leading US law school and currently practicing
- 5+ years of experience in structured finance and derivatives or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in at least one of the listed areas of structured finance and derivatives
