Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ACIC Equipment USA Inc. is an integrator of pharmaceutical equipment solutions. The Business Development Manager identifies and qualifies market opportunities, develops a documented pipeline, and partners with Sales, Marketing, Technical Sales, and Operations to support growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the top of the funnel. Find opportunities first, read the market faster than anyone else, and feed our Sales team a pipeline they can win with
- 📡 Scan: Monitor market data and intelligence sources for early signals across pharma, biotech, nutraceutical and radiopharma
- 🧩 Shape: Turn raw signals into pre-leads, then into real opportunities
- ✅ Qualify: Confirm fit, budget, timeline, decision process, and principal relevance
- 🤝 Hand off: Deliver a sharp, well-documented opportunity to the Regional Sales Manager or Key Accounts owner
- 🏆 Win together: Partner with Sales as they capture, develop, propose, negotiate and close
- ▪️ New market segments, target accounts, and principal-fit opportunities
- ▪️ Lead-generation campaigns with Marketing and our Trade Show & BD team
- ▪️ ACIC’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- ▪️ Partner-specific growth plays with Technical Sales and Operations
- ▪️ Competitive intelligence on markets, principals, and technologies
- ▪️ Relationships with associations, consultants, and engineering firms
- ▪️ Clean CRM data and tracking of lead volume and handoff conversion
Skills
- BD experience in pharma, biotech, radiopharma, life sciences, or capital equipment
- A process-first mindset. You follow the system and make it stronger
- A hunter's instinct for market signals and emerging opportunities
- Confidence on a trade-show floor and in a boardroom
- CRM fluency and a data-driven approach to pipeline
- A team-first attitude. You set Sales up to win
