[Remote] CAD Engineer - AI Trainer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mindrift is seeking a CAD Engineer - AI Trainer to train and evaluate AI agents working in a CAD environment on long engineering tasks. The role involves designing part geometry, building reference solutions, judging agent attempts, and collaborating with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks, work that would take an expert 10–15 hours
• You'll design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts
• You'll work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build

Skills

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar)
• An active professional CAD licence of your own (required)
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub
• English at B2 level or above
• A Master's or PhD is a plus
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus
