[Remote] Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Deloitte is a professional services organization whose US Corporate Development team drives strategic investments and growth initiatives. The Consultant will support the corporate development lifecycle through market assessment, acquisition target evaluation, business case development, due diligence, integration activities, and executive-level recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Deloitte businesses in refining acquisition priorities aligned to growth strategy
• Conducting market research and qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform target identification and pipeline development
• Sourcing and screening acquisition targets under the direction of senior team members
• Developing strategic rationale and business case materials, including financial modeling and value creation assumptions
• Supporting due diligence and post-close integration activities across functional stakeholders

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, or investment evaluation
• Experience developing presentations for senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting communications for senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
• Ability to lead projects or workstreams
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with market sizing, expert interviews, and survey design
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, investment evaluation, or corporate finance
• Experience working within Deloitte's business structure and internal processes
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools such as Enterprise GPT or Copilot to support research and productivity
